Cardiovascular Center

A state-of-the-art Cardiovascular Centre is set to be established at KCMC, dedicated to delivering comprehensive care for both pediatric and adult patients grappling with heart-related conditions. The facility will be outfitted with two operating rooms (ORs) and two cath labs to facilitate advanced medical interventions. Boasting a total of 125 beds, the center will also feature an outpatient clinic, focusing on the diagnosis and treatment of heart diseases.

KCMC aims not only to offer top-notch cardiac care to the local community but also to emerge as a premier training hub for cardiovascular specialists across East and Southern Africa.

Construction will begin in 2024. The center will open in stages, in late 2025 and early 2026.

MWIKA is playing a pivotal role by providing IT consultancy and assisting in the realization of the facilities for the Cardiac Centre.
